Full Day of Christmas Programs

Sunday was a busy day, we started it off by going to our Christmas program at Peace.  Emily loved it, she stood on my lap or Jim's the entire service and we didn't get out one book, toy or snack while we were there.  Emily loved the puppets, hand bells and watching the children sing and perform in front of the church.

After church we rushed home, at a quick lunch and then packed to head out for Linda & Steve's house.  Emily and I met up with my parents and drove with them, we like to carpool seeing it's about 1.5 hours each way.  When we got to Linda and Steve's the kids played and we hung out for a hour or two and then headed over to Caleb's Christmas program at their church.  The second picture is of Emily riding their toy bike (I can't remember what it's called) which hooks into the TV, she was really into, but is not the best at pedaling yet.  Joshua was cheering her on and showing her how to do it.

We went to the church program early because Joshua and Caleb played Christmas songs in the pre-service music which lasted about a half an hour.  Both Joshua and Caleb played their songs perfectly and were so proud, I think Joshua was the only 4 year old playing too, he got to go first.  Then we had the Christmas program, Caleb did a great job playing the hand bells and singing in the program.  It's amazing how much those children memorized for the program!  I didn't get many pictures because Emily wasn't into sitting for another Christmas program after the long car ride and sitting earlier that day (Plus I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the program at Linda's church).  But Emily did well especially for not having a nap.  We had a great time, and boy was she tired when we got home Sunday night.
