Yesterday was the perfect day to go swimming, it was 87 and sunny! We met my cousin Diane and her family at the pool, and enjoyed lots of fun swimming. Emily loved the water, as you can see her grinning from ear to ear being held by Grandma Weidmayer.
In the shallow end the water is 2'6" so Emily could walk around with no problem, and basically the water came up to her neck, perfect! She didn't like her life jacket on because it would lay her back with the pillow so we had to keep a close eye on Emily walking around (pictured with Linda & Diane). Emily also loved jumping into the pool from the side, usually into my arms, here she is jumping to her being caught by her cousin Caleb.
After their showers the girls were "being very girlie" doing their hair in the mirror at TP. Emily brushed Claire's hair, Claire was very easy going about it, but I think Emily added a few tangles in too. Opps!
