This week with my sisters in town we sure jammed a lot of fun things into our week. We ended the week yesterday with going to the Monroe County Fair. The kids sure loved the rides, they enjoyed the animals, but the rides were the biggest hit. Good thing the rides didn't open up until noon and we left at 1pm so most of the morning we spent time looking at animals. Emily and I were looking at the goats while the big kids were riding rides and I look up from the camera to see Emily is actually kissing the goats. She sure loves her animals!
The first ride was going down the big slide, and Emily got to join the big kids, riding on my lap (far left in the picture). The best ride for your money was the bumper boats, it was so long Emily got sick of it and was trying to climb out of her boat. It's amazing how she caught on to how to steer the wheel and actually bumped into a few of her cousins.
After a busy day at the fair, Emily was so tired but would not take a nap after over an hour of quiet time in her room! This week she has skipped her nap 5 days, UGH! I hope she does not give up her nap soon. She is napping right now, good thing because we have a Birthday party this evening!
