The best thing about a garden, is enjoying the fresh vegetables! We loved the spinach and lettuce which are gone now, and currently we are enjoying kale, yellow squash, zucchini, peas and a couple of carrots (still a little small).
Emily is great a helping shuck the peas, and she enjoys eating a couple while she helps.
Saturday after dinner Emily and Blake each got a fresh carrot out of the garden and enjoyed eating them just like bunny rabbits. Don't worry we washed them first.
