At dinner last night Jim and I were talking about going for a walk down to the neighbors to see their garden, and Emily piped in with her opinion on it. Emily said she wanted to ride in the backpack on Jim's back. I never would have guessed that, we haven't used the backpack in months and usually she wants to walk everywhere, sometimes she is good in the stroller for a little while, but the backpack? Ok, so Jim carried her in the backpack on our walk, who can refuse a request that honestly is easier for us. Most of the walk she enjoyed riding on Jim's back, even playing with his hair and putting her hat on his head, but at the end she was ready to get out and walk.
