Indianapolis Zoo

Going to Dave's is always a highlight of our summer, and we talked about it for a good month or two before went went down there this year.  Emily was so excited about the Indianapolis Zoo, they have a dolphin show and last year we got to pet an elephant.  It's the best zoo I have personally ever been too.  At home we to go the Toledo or Detroit Zoo which are both good zoos but do not have a dolphin show!

The day went well, I nursed Mary at lunch and when Steve and Joshua raced the cheetah, other than that most of the time Mary slept.  She was such a good baby and trooper for the day.  We were at the zoo from about 11am until after 3pm.  You would have thought Emily would have fallen asleep on the way back from the zoo, but she didn't.  That was even after staying up until 4:30am the night before.  Emily was so excited and wound up she couldn't sleep the first night at Uncle Dave's house until 4:30am, and then slept until about 9am.  It sure made us all start off our vacation very tired!
