Emily loves to play with Uncle Dave too!

Opening Christmas Presents

The girls had a blast opening up Christmas presents this year, especially Emily.

Here is Emily helping Mary open her present from Grandma Jane.
I got it mom! Mary loves the ribbons.
Mary was so excited about the wrapping paper.
Jim was excited over his new kitchen tool (and me too). A hand held blender/chopper.
Emily was so excited to get her American Girl Doll Brave Emily!
Emily kissing her doll as Grandma Jane watches on. Thanks Grandma Jane!

Grandma Jane and Emily played Hello Kitty Bingo.
Santa brought Emily a lap top computer! It has a mouse just like mommy's computer!
Daddy helped Mary open up her presents!
Mary do you like your picture?
Mary also got letters to hang on her wall

Jim got new shoes, pants, beer and a Wii game.
I must have been a good girl this year, I got new blue earrings from Emily. A silver chain from Jim and a wii fit game.
I got some great gifts from my mother-in-law too, I got new cricuit cartilages which Emily and I have been having so much fun with, throw pillows that match our curtains (Jane made both the pillows and the curtains), and a new baby food cookbook.

Christmas Dinner at Travis Point on December 23rd

Travis Pointe has a wonderful Christmas buffet and dinner on December 23rd. The food is delicious and the best part is the Saline High School choir singing Christmas carols.

Emily was happy that she finished her dinner and got a chocolate treat!

Having fun at the table, Jim, Mary & Emily.

Emily doing my hair

Emily decided that since I did her hair, she should be able to do my hair. She did my hair while I folded diapers, and I think she put 100 hair ties in it. It took forever to get them out, so I am not so sure we will do that again.

Mary eating peas

Mary was excited to eat until she realized it wasn't what she was used to, it was peas! Emily loves the rice cereal with mama's milk, but is not so sure about anything else she has tried.

Weber Christmas Party December 19th

On the 19th we went to Neil & Suzanne's house for the Weber Christmas party.

Here everyone is getting ready to eat after the prayer.

This is serious business
What an angel.

Weidmayer Christmas party at our house

On December 18th we hosted my dad's side of the family at our house.

Here are the kids - Liam, Caleb & Emily decorating their table cloth and making place mats.

Mom with Amy
Dad with his brother Eldean
Grandma with Mary
The kids enjoyed watching Christmas shows on TV - Johanna, Caleb, Josh & Emily.
Liam built a great wall with the blocks.
Dinner time - Grandma, Bob, Jackie, Amy, Fred, Linda & Carolyn
Gary, Karen, Greg, Jim, Melanie & Dad

We had a great time and a wonderful ham that grandma bought and we baked from Plum Market. We got a good one with no nitrates or additives. Afterward I made spilt pea and ham soup with the bone -yum!

Slumber party

Emily likes to cover up Lucy with blankets and have a slumber party. Sometimes all we see are blankets (and no faces) and then Lucy will start to pant and the blankets start to move. So then we remove all the blankets and cool off. They are such good friends.

Christmas Party at Preschool

I went in to help with the Christmas party at preschool. We had a great time and the kids were so adorable!

Here is Emily making a glitter pine cone.
Of course it called for lots of glitter!
Mary was so patient at the party either in her car seat or I walked around with her.
Emily making her Christmas necklace with noodles.
They acted out the Christmas story and Emily played Mary. Here is the angel coming to talk to her.
Yum! Sugar cookies with whip cream and fruit on top.
Ice skating (on milk jug skates)

It was a great day! The kids finished with a program but for some reason Emily was too shy to go up and sat with Mary and I in the church pews.
