Swimming with Daddy (between the Wedding Ceremony & Reception)

After all that sitting in the car down to the wedding ceremony (4 hours) and sitting during the ceremony, Emily needed to get some energy out!  So we checked into our hotel and enjoyed the pool for an hour or so.  Jim and Emily swam while I snapped pictures poolside (I didn't want to take another shower and do my hair again).

Emily is getting good at swimming, kicking around the pool, and she is not afraid to jump in forward or backwards too!  Which was her silly idea if you can't tell by her expression on her face.

Seth & Becky Heiss Wedding Ceremony

On September 12th Jim's cousin Seth Heiss got married outside of Chicago. So Jim, Emily and I made a weekend of it and drove down Saturday morning returning on Sunday. Here is a picture of Becky and her father walking down the aisle.

This is Seth walking down the aisle with his mom and dad (Uncle Brad, Jim's dad's brother).

This is the adorable ring bearer Robby Heiss (Josh & Carisa's son) who is 2.5. He did a great job.

This is Robby's parents Josh (brother to groom and Jim's cousin) & Carisa Heiss.

This is Daniel Heiss the other brother to the groom and Jim's cousin.

My Camera is Missing

Last week I misplaced my camera, so there has been a delay in pictures and blog postings.  I think I left it at the park, UGH!  I checked the park, car and pretty much everywhere, so I think it's gone.  Luckily I am pretty good at downloading pictures often so I didn't have a ton of pictures on it when I lost it.  Last weekend my mom lent us her camera so I have been using that and have a ton of pictures to post from the last several days.  It was great to have a camera because Jim's cousin got married last weekend, so many pictures coming very soon!  If you find my camera or have recommendations on a nice inexpensive new, small digital camera, let me know!

Mom's B-Day Cake Looks Good

Thursday was my 33rd Birthday, which we celebrated at Dave's house.  Emily sure was excited about the cake, especially seeing there were M & M's on it!!

Fun at Uncle Dave's

Here are a few other fun pictures from our weekend at Uncle Dave's.  One night we went to a Mexican restaurant nearby and Dave order Margarita's for him and Jim.  You should have seen the look on Jim's face when they arrived, they were HUGE!  The food was good, and Emily loved having all of the chips and salsa at the beginning of dinner.

Emily also liked riding on Dave's four wheeler, which was just her size.

My grandma does cross stitch and she made this great picture for my brother, which we took him when we went to visit him.  She does an amazing job.

The last picture is Emily helping Dave fill the bird feeder, she loved watching the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and ducks at Dave's house.

The Park in Indy

On morning Emily was getting restless at Uncle Dave's and he was trying to get some work done, so went to the park.  Emily went down the BIG slide all by herself, but then she decided she liked going down daddy or mommy better.  Emily really doesn't have much fear (yet) and loves to experience things.

Playing Ball at Uncle Dave's

It was so cute when Emily went up to my dad this weekend and said, "Pa pa, come play football with me."  She loves to try and play catch with the football, bounce the basketball, or just hang out outdoors.
