Emily making Mary laugh

Emily gets the best laughs out of Mary. Emily is great at entertaining Mary, and making her laugh. It's so much fun to watch them together.

Fall Pictures

My friend Julia came over last week to take my picture for our MOPS directory. She snapped a couple of extra's with Emily. Mary was asleep. Julia is a photographer and just with a couple of snaps she got this nice picture of Emily and I.

A Fall Walk

A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed a fall walk through the woods. Lucy got to run in the creek in woods and get all wet and muddy. The colors were beautiful. Unfortunately we don't get to go for walks enough.

Lucy is looking at Emily because Emily had dog treats in her pocket. Emily loves to give Lucy treats, and boy does Lucy come quick when Emily calls her.

Grandma Weidmayer with the Girls

We met up with Linda and Steve at Wendy's for a visit. They were in Saline for a meeting, so we met up to see them for a quick hour one day last week. The bummer is I forgot to get out my camera until they were gone.

Here is Grandma with Mary

Dress up time = fashion show

Emily likes to dress up in princess dresses and doing a "fashion show." She will dress her babies too!

Like mother like daughter

Mary in her hat

I got this hat for Mary at the Salem Fall Festival for a few dollars. It's a lovely hand made hat that matches practically any outfit. I turn the hat to have the color I want in the front.

Tummy time 10/12/10

This picture reminds me of my nephew Caleb. He used to pose like this.

Mary was all smiles when I was looking for an outfit while she played on the floor.

Bath time

Emily and Mary are so cute in the bath tub together.

Lots of bubbles in the bath tub!
Look mom I can put my feet up like Mary!
Mary's hair actually looks curly here, I'm still hoping for some curls. :)

Cuddling in the PJ's

Emily loves to hold Mary, here they are in their PJ's.

October 11th = 84 Degrees

Can you believe it was 84 degrees on October 11th? Jim got out the pool and Emily was swimming!

Mary in her fall festival outfit

I didn't have any pictures of Emily at fall festival at Salem, but here is her after church that day at home.

Mary likes to stick out her tongue when she smiles. She doesn't do as much as she used to.
Yoga pose, smiling at daddy.

Fall Festival at Salem

We went to the fall festival at Salem, and enjoyed an auction, hay ride, games and lunch!

Emily on the swing!
Emily and I on the hay ride.
Grandpa driving the tractor!

Yesterday we were talking about hay rides and Emily said that she wants Grandma to drive the tractor! I think it is because Grandma takes Emily on their gator and goes "really fast!" She does too!

Emily doctoring Mary (September 2010)

Emily loves her doctor kit, it's one of her favorite toys! Shortly after Mary's 4 month appointment Emily was checking Mary out to make sure she was healthy.

Emily has said she wants to be a doctor so she can give shots and hand out band-aids. I'm not sure why she would want to give shots, but she sure does love band-aids.

What a good patient!
Time for your blood pressure Mary
Checked out healthy! Look at her little feet, aren't they so cute!

Domino's Petting Farm September 2010

In September we went to Domino's Petting Farm on a beautiful fall day with the Cabble's.

Jim, Mary and I on the hay ride. It looks like Mary's hat is a little small.
Me feeding Mary, yes she is under the pink blanket. :)
Emily riding a pony!
Erik feeding the cow a carrot, watch out for that tongue!

We had so much fun Emily didn't want to leave!

September Mary Pictures

Mary dressed up for church at 4 months old!

Windy Wind

Emily just loved the "windy wind" yesterday and wanted to stay out side and play in the wind. She kept laughing and thought it was so funny that it was so windy.
We didn't think it was as much fun. Some of the siding actually blew off the house! So Jim and I fixed it when he got home from work. It was hard trying to get it back up with the wind blowing it all over! This picture only shows half of the area the siding came off.

The girls having fun together!

Mom I like this chair!
Will my eyes be brown or blue? Mom's vote is brown, dad's is blue.

Halloween Fun

As many of you know my blog is still not working very well, I never know when I will be able to get into the blog and if it will let me publish something. Today it appears to be working?

Last week we went to Jim's work for Halloween. Emily has had a tough time deciding what she wants to be for Halloween. She said one day "Mom I can't decide what I want to be for Halloween, there are too many choices!" Isn't that the truth. She usually says a blue dinosaur, a scary monster, a shark, and several other boy type costumes. Jim bought her this beautiful snow white dress, so I really wanted her to be that. I convinced her that is what she needed to be at Jim's work event if she wanted to get candy. Needless to say, she gladly dressed up as snow white. We don't do much candy here, so the thought of getting some chocolate was a great bribe.

Mary is happy and content with whatever and always goes with the flow. She is the most amazing baby I have ever met! We are so blessed with her. I put her in a little pumpkin costume. I have a few other options for her, so on Halloween she might be something different.

My little princess!

Emily couldn't take her eyes off the candy!
This witch was pretty cool, and talked!
Yum, my first Dots, daddy said I would like them!
Me holding Mary, Emily showing me the candy she picked up. She showed me every piece she picked up that day!
Emily with her jack-o-lantern.

Still all clean!
Gooey fingers!
Final product!

The girls are so much fun these days. Mary is an angel, she does get up at night, usually only once but she is so good and goes right back to bed.

Emily is into telling stories and has the best personality. She keeps me laughing all of the time. On the other hand she really tests my patience too!

One day this week we were driving and passed a motorcycle. Emily says "I want a motorcycle." I said "No they are too dangerous." Emily, "I want a motorcycle so I can ride it really fast with daddy." Me, "No they are too dangerous." Emily, "Then can I have a wheeler?" Me, "A wheeler? " Emily "Yes, a wheeler?" I said "You mean a 4 wheeler?" Emily "Yes, a 4 wheeler so I can ride really fast with daddy." Me, "No they are too dangerous." Emily, "I have already been on a 4 wheeler!" Me, "You have?" Emily, "Yes with daddy." Me, "Where at?" Emily, "At Lowe's!" I asked Jim about it and when her took her to Gaylans a few weeks a go she sat on a 4 wheeler. Jim wants to buy one so I think he put the idea in her head.

Every commercial Emily sees she wants the toy or game or whatever it is, and if it's for a baby, then she thinks Mary needs it. So Emily thinks we need to buy pretty much everything! Last week The American Girl doll catalog came and Jim told her to mark which one she likes the best. She marked every single item in the catalog! Which I now know is a good way to keep her busy! Jim told her he will have to work 24/7 to buy her every single doll in that catalog! So now when Jim goes to work or is at work Emily says "Daddy is at work so he can buy me every single one of those American Girl Dolls!" Hopefully Jim will soon learn not to put these ideas into Emily's head!
