Mary still hasn't rolled over

Mary is so close to rolling over, but hasn't done it yet.  I didn't anticipate it as much with Emily, but I guess now I know the signs.  When she is on her tummy she gets up on her side and will be kicking, I am so surprised she doesn't flop over onto her back?  Soon, very soon Mary will roll over ...

Check out my cloth diaper

On her side
Still working on it ...

Mom, I need to take a break
I'm getting tired now

These pictures were taken last Sunday, Mary was 3.5 months old (September 5th)

Sunday dress

Here are the girls after church yesterday.  Emily had already changed out of her dress.  Here is Mary still in her dress looking silly with that hat on.  Check out the matching tights, aren't they cute?  This outfit is handed down from my sister Sarah, she has two girls who turn 7 and 9 next month, and the outfit is still in style!

Snuggling as we are changing Mary's clothes.

Hanging out at my parents

This weekend with Linda's family in town we spent a lot of time at my parents house.

Jim & Steve had fun ridding around on the 6 wheeler.
Emily had fun jumping in the moon bounce with the boys
Emily and Joshua were dancing to Linda's new Birthday card that plays the chicken dance (Jim bought it).
Jim & Emily were looking at flash cards (yes Jim was awake, he appears asleep in the picture)
Linda enjoyed holding Mary who is so sweet
Mary feel asleep on me, it was so sweet.  I never just sit and let her sleep on me, because when I am home there is just too much to do.  But I got to snuggle with her for a little while at my parents house.
Jim and Emily played soccer together.  Here they are running after the ball.
Good kick Emily!

Birthday Dinner

Friday was my Birthday, we'll to be exact it was my sister Linda's Birthday too!  We celebrated our Birthdays together with my parents and grandmother at Travis Pointe.  It was one of the best Birthday dinners, Emily was well behaved which always makes things easier.  The only bummer was it took a REALLY long time to get our meals.  But the food was good, and the company even better.  Mary slept most of the time, just as I was finishing my meal she woke up.

Swimming at the Pond

It was hot on Wednesday, after Domino's I said we needed to go swimming.  So Wednesday night we went to my parents house to cool off in their pond.  Of course Wednesday evening it cooled off on it's own and we even had a few sprinkles!  It was still fun swimming with our friends.

Here is daddy showing Emily how to use the kick board.

Emily was swimming with the noodle, she swims without touching a little bit, but prefers to have her feet touch the sand.
Emily, Megan & Blake on the tube.  We pushed them around the pond and they had a blast!
Emily riding on daddy!
The rocket was fun too!
Lots of friends joined us - Erik, Julie, Blake & Megan, and our neighbors Brandon & Phil.

Domino's Petting Farm

Mary had a good time smiling at me at Domino's Petting Farm yesterday.  She is such a good baby.  All she does is smile or sleep.
Emily and her buddy Sierna feeding the ducks
Look at the steers.
The best part for Emily was feeding the animals the carrots.
We had to get two trays of carrots yesterday so all of the animals got some.
The bunnies were pretty big!
I changed Mary's diaper in the car before we left.  The girls were being so cute talking to each other and smiling.
